Lawyers Baruch (Buky) Katzman and Yaniv Levy from our firm’s Commercial Litigation department, together with Shalem Kerem – Law Offices filed a statement of claim for 70 million shekels at the Jerusalem District Court against the Beit Shemesh Municipality, the Beit Shemesh Local Building and Planning Committee, Daniel Zarfati (former city engineer), Mordechai Horesh (municipality planner), Adv. Michael Gastwirt (legal counsel to the municipality and local committee) and the Israel Land Authority.

The plaintiff, Mr. Yehuda Rosenberg, is a Jewish-American businessman, one of the heads of the Brooklyn-Munroe Satmer Hassidic comunity, who provided most of the financing for the project – in favor of the Satmer community.
