Adv. Sharon Kohane, partner and head of our firm’s White Collar department, participated in a panel on the subject of enforcement on the capital market at the annual Bar Association convention held in Eilat.

The panel, officiated by Adv. Nitzan Shefir, Globes law reporter, and with the participation of leading lawyers in the field, dealt, inter alia, with the question of the gap between criminal and administrative law in the field. 

Adv. Kohane spoke about, inter alia, the importance of reducing times in receiving decisions concerning directors interrogated under caution, who pay a heavy price due merely to an investigation being initiated of them. According to her, the system has to create a mechanism to reduce time for examination and decision making concerning secondary persons of interest, to prevent severe injury to the freedom of occupation.
