Our firm represented Ahuzot Hof Ltd in an application for class action approval for the amount of NIS 18,480,000. The application argued that Tel Aviv residents that are entitled to resident discounts at the Ahuzot Hof parking lots do not receive the full discount to which they entitled, due to inconsideration of the maximum parking prices at each lot.
After conducting prolongued proceedings, the District Court rejected the application, accepted all of the Ahuzot Hof arguments and determined it had operated legally. The court imposed expenses of NIS 15,000 on the applicants. The applicants submitted an appeal on the ruling to the Supreme Court. At the court’s recommendation (Hon. Judge Itzhak Amit, Hon. Judge Yael Vilner, Hon. Judge Ruth Ronen), the applicants withdrew the appeal and will bear costs of NIS 10,000.
Ahuzot Hof was represented by lawyers Dana Amir-Fried and Iris Bar Lev of the Class Action and Litigation department at our firm.
