Our firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution department held a convention for legal counsels in association with the ACC organization.

Lecturers at the convention included Prof. Sharon Hannes (from the Tel Aviv University Law Faculty) who spoke on the responsibility of officers and defending liability exemption; Mr. Itzik Malik, CEO of Howden Insurance Brokers, on directors’ liability insurance and professional responsibility, with emphasis on legal counsels’ insurance. Additional lecturers included lawyers Dana Battat and Roey Dotan, partners in our firm’s Litigation department, who spoke on immunity, confidentiality and practical aspects thereof.

The convention included a panel officiated by Adv. Dana Battat, with the participation of Adv. Ram Jeanne, head of our firm’s Litigation department; Adv. Tali Guy, vice-president of Teva Compliance and Enforcement; and Adv. Inbal Aviad, Chief of Legal at Papaya global – both of whom are directors and managers of professional forums at ACC – within framework of which alternatives to conducting legal proceedings in court were discussed.
