A new bill aimed at regulating securitisation transactions (5785 – 2025) is currently being reviewed by the Israeli Knesset.
Securitisation offers clear advantages: for the originator – access to risk-free cash flow; and for investors – control over the underlying asset and exclusive repayment rights. However, these transactions also entail risks – many of which can be mitigated with the right regulatory framework.
