During a ceremony held at Sammy Ofer Stadium last Wednesday, the club’s president, Ya’akov Shahar, Haifa mayor Einat Kalisch-Rotem, and the stadium’s CEO, Lior Perry, signed the first in a series of agreements to establish the museum. The total transaction is estimated at NIS 8 million.
The Maccabi Haifa Sports Club was represented by attorneys Udi Shochatovitch, Naftali Fridman and Ofer Ben–Assa.
The museum will display the club’s heritage and development over the years, including team exhibits. Along with the use agreement and the establishment of the museum, the establishment of a merchandise store is planned, for the benefit of the fans and residents of the city of Haifa. AYR – Amar Reiter Jeanne Shochatovitch & Co. law firm, which represents Maccabi Haifa Football Club, has stated that, “This is an integrated system of agreements for the historic establishment of the Maccabi Haifa Museum and the club’s contribution to the entire city of Haifa. We thank the representatives of the municipality and all the parties involved for their cooperation, and we are confident that this special project will be a blessing.”
