In order to mark the day for raising awareness to “Fighting against violence towards women”, we hosted Ms. Ronit Lev-Ari from the “Michal Sela Forum” in an online lecture for the firm’s employees. “Sharing. Not staying silent” – five warning signs in relationships, by the Michal Sela Forum.
Ms. Ronit Lev Ari is a criminologist and victimologist, an expert in domestic violence in senior families in Israel. She is the former head of the Authority for Women’s Status in the Prime Minister’s Office and founder of the first center in Israel dedicated to the prevention of domestic violence.
In addition, she established the Department of Treatment and Prevention of Domestic Violence of the Naamat movement, was one of the founders of the Beit Ruth Association for Girls at Risk, and currently manages the Beit Ruth Knowledge Center – and coordinates the alumni field.
Adv. Dana Battat, a partner in the Commercial Litigation Department, said: “Raising awareness through public and private discourse is essential to reducing domestic violence in general, and violence towards women in particular. Each and every one of us is personally obligated to lead the way.”
