Einav Cohen is a partner at our firm, heading the Municipal Taxation Department, and accompanying dozens of tax-payers on a regular basis, in the fields of infrastructure, communications, health, real estate, consumerism, hi-tech, food, retailing and transport, in disputes of municipal taxation relating to assets nationwide.
He is regular representative for some of the largest companies and entities on the Israeli market, including government and private companies, contractors and entrepreneurs in the fields of municipal taxation and civil litigation, providing ongoing counsel and legal representation.
Moreover, Einav is a representative on complex legal disputes in the field of civil litigation, for plaintiffs of compensation proceedings for devaluation according to Section 197 of the Planning and Construction Law and on the various appeals committees.
Einav has achieved several successful civil law and municipal taxation legal precedents.
Einav manages disputes in municipal taxation as well as civil proceedings and arbitrations amounting to billions of shekels. He also serves as a trustee on behalf of the Official Receiver on bankruptcy proceedings and represents debtors and companies in bankruptcy, receiver and liquidation processes.
Einav was a former member of the Municipal Taxation Forum, and a member of the Interns Committee at the Israeli Bar Association. He also served as a complainant on behalf of the Bar Association on board of ethics disciplinary hearings at the Bar Association tribunal.
