Dorit Karny is a partner in our Insolvency and Restructuring Department, where she deals with a variety of related procedures and legal advice. 

Dorit possesses a wealth of experience in all insolvency proceedings, including recovery and rehabilitation proceedings, debt settlements, liquidations, receiverships and bankruptcies, under the old law as well as under the new legislation. She accompanies and represents the firm’s clients on a multitude of proceedings in relation to various corporations (such as private and public companies, partnerships and associations), including in the fields of real estate, technology, logistics and catering; she also represents individuals, on all matters of insolvency law as well as in commercial and corporate issues that arise as part of these proceedings. 

Dorit has vast experience in domestic as well as international insolvency proceedings, and appears before all courts.

Dorit served as an editorial board member for the “Legal Research” publication and as a research and tutor at Bar-Ilan and Tel Aviv Universities. 

Along with other accolades, Dorit was recipient of the prestigious Prof. Nathan Rottenstreich three-year subsistence scholarship for outstanding PhD students. 

A former volunteer at ‘Magen David Adom’, she now volunteers at non-profit animal welfare organisations.

Tel Aviv University, graduate of Phase A in doctoral studies in discourse research, 2002.
