Today, the international privacy day took place at Tel Aviv Chapter of IAPP (International Association of Privacy Professionals).

Adv. Eyal Roy Sage, partner and Head of the Law and Technology Department, who was recently appointed Co-chair of the IAPP Tel Aviv Chapter together with Adv. Dalit Ben Israel, partner at Naschitz Brandes Amir & Co., held a simulation of negotiations for data processing agreements (DPA) and outsourcing between various types of companies, from traditional outsourcing (e.g. cloud storage) to borderline situations such as engaging with leasing companies, communication providers, travel companies etc.

Other participants included Aner Rabinovitz, Founder & CEO at PrivacyTeam, Adv. Avishai Ostrin from Asserson Law Office, and Adv. Efrat Grinbaum, VP Business Development at MyEDPO, and they discussed relevant issues, such as Privacy by Design, Brexit and DPO roles in view of what can be expected in 2020.
