At the event held at the British ambassador’s residence in Israel, the 2018 Gold Medal was awarded to young men and women. The event was attended by MK Revital Swaid and Meirav Ben-Ari, British Ambassador to Israel David Cavery, Attorney Amir Amar, founder and head of AYR – Amar Reiter Jeanne Shochatovitch & Co., and Hilton Nathanson, director of venture capital fund and
entrepreneur, The International Youth and Youth Award, which gives the signal in Israel. The organization operates and affects more than 3,000 boys and girls, especially in the periphery.
Ambassador Cavery spoke in Hebrew to the students and stressed that the youth signal was founded in Britain by Prince Philip of Edinburgh to empower youth around the world. He also added that this year the ceremony has special significance following Prince William’s visit to Israel, which included a conversation with the representative of the Youth Award in Israel.
Attorney Amir Amar, founder and head of AYR’s office, says that the organization’s values ​​are an integral part of Israeli society, and that personal empowerment and social commitment among young people will bring about the change that Israeli society needs.
