The new International Commercial Arbitration law will allow Israel to be the seat of arbitration proceedings between companies from different countries.
Adv. Gidon Even-Or, partner in our Litigation and Dispute Resolution department, heading our international arbitration practice, was interviewed for a column published in CDR – Commercial Dispute Resolution magazine, and said, among other things, that “the new legislation adopts the UNCITRAL model law and puts Israel in a similar place as other modern countries. This is a step in the right direction in creating conditions that would allow international companies to feel comfortable in choosing Israel as a seat for arbitration.”
