Adv. Amir Amar, head of the firm, participated in the annual Dun’s 100 Leading Firms Forum, where senior industry figures discussed key legal and public issues, such as the impact of the war on the Israeli economy, the implications of new legislation on the Israel Bar Association’s activities, and more.

Adv. Amar addressed competition and the trend of mergers, stating: “Market turbulence, instability, uncertainty, and regulatory reforms all have an impact on the legal sector as well. In my view, we, the large firms, have weathered 2024 successfully, while small and mid-sized firms are bearing the brunt of the upheaval. We are seeing an increasing trend of these firms integrating into larger ones.

In times of uncertainty, clients seek stability, expertise, and a proactive approach.

As a strategic choice, we aim to strengthen our core practice areas. Whereas in the past, firms might have considered expanding into complementary or new legal fields, in recent years, we have focused on reinforcing our firm’s core strengths. A prime example is our recent merger with a leading real estate firm, alongside other strategic initiatives we are driving.

Our expansion is driven by strength rather than necessity, reflecting a long-term vision and an understanding of the importance of increasing market share while maintaining our position as a key player in our core practice areas, now and in the future.

Influential players in the industry must not only respond to a changing market but also set the pace and shape the way leading firms operate in times like these.”
