The Israel Electricity Corporation won in a petition on the Planning and Construction Appeals Committee decision – Southern District
About Related practices

Our firm represented the Israel Electricity Corporation against land rights owners in the city of Yeruham, who submitted an application to extend the date for submitting an appeal concerning a building permit given to the IEC, to establish a transformers room, on a plot designated as open public space, in the Yeruham Agamim neighbourhood.
The application was submitted by rights owners in the land adjacent to the open public space, who claimed that the building permit was issued unlawfully, and that establishment of the transformers room is an injury to their rights.
The Building and Planning Appeals Committee in the southern district accepted our arguments in the case, and rejected the appellants’ application.

An administrative petition was submitted against the Appeals Committee decision, to the District Court in its instance as the southern district Court for Administrative Affairs.
Following the Court’s discussion of the case, a ruling was given rejecting the petition, including assignation of expenses on the petitioners.
The Israel Electricity Corporation was represented by Adv. Yacov Cohen, head of our firm’s Planning and Construction department, and by Adv. Orly Vidan, a partner in the department.
