Senior officers of Israel’s health system and leading experts in the field of AI participated in the 2nd annual convention of the Lemaanchem organization – which provides free medical counsel and direction for all.

As part of the event the latest developments in the world of AI and their medical applications were on show, and judging by the news emanating from the convention – it would appear that the sky is the limit: the computer has surpassed humans in the prevention and diagnosis of diseases, and in the future maybe in their treatment as well. 

Participants in the event included Prof. Amnon Shaashua from Mobileye, Gil Shwed from CheckPoint, deputy president of Google Worldwide, Prof. Yossi Mateas, Ceo of Microsoft Israel Alon Haimovitz, Prof. Yonina Eldar of the Weizman Institute, Eli Cohen, GM of Clalit Health Fund and Prof. Ran Blitzer, head of the Fund’s innovations setup – and many more. 

Thanks to the Founder and Chairman of the organization Rabbi Yossi Arblich, organization President Prof. Yosef Peres, Deputy President and Chairman of Research and Innovation Dr. Gadi Neuman, Head of the system Dr. Benny Davidson and Chairman of the Friendship Society businessman Benny Steinmetz.
