Yoav is an expert in mergers and acquisitions, financing and banking transactions, corporate and securities law, high-tech and venture capital investments. Over the years, he has acquired extensive experience in all aspects of commercial law, providing accompaniment on a wide range of transactions, both in Israel and abroad. With his thorough knowledge of the law and a deep understanding of the business needs of his clients, Yoav is a well-known and respected member of the legal community in Israel.
He provides regular counsel to a large number of private and public companies, Israeli and foreign, operating in Israel and around the world. Yoav regularly represents foreign companies investing in Israel, as well as Israeli investors operating abroad – working with leading law firms around the world.
He has close working relationships with banks and investment houses in Israel and has an in-depth knowledge of mutual funds and pension funds. Over recent years, Yoav has represented a long list of entities operating in the world of provident and pension funds.
In addition, he is very active in the field of venture capital and represents a large number of startups, private investors and high-tech investment funds, from angel fundraising and pre-seed stages to issuance and/or sale (exit).
Yoav served as (joint) chairman of the Israel Bar Association Corporations Committee.
During his military service, Yoav was the military editor of the Israel Defence Forces’ official newspaper “BaMahane”, a military correspondent for the “Al Hamishmar” and “Hadashot” journals, and later went on to become senior news editor of “Maariv”, and for 7 years, he edited the Israel Bar Association journal.
